Local Child Care Planning Council
The Local Child Care Planning Council (LPC) is a county-level body responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating child care and early education services. Their primary mission is to identify the child care needs of all families in the local community, including both subsidized and non-subsidized care, and to develop plans to meet those needs. The Shasta County LPC meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Shasta County Office of Education, 43 Hilltop Drive in Redding, except where otherwise noted
