Alternative Payment Provider

Accepting Alternative Child Care Payments  

By participating in Alternative Payment (AP), you can offer your services to a wider range of families and ensure you receive consistent payments. It's a win-win: families get the child care they need, and you get paid for providing it.  The benefit to the provider is a wider pool of potential families as well as stable and timely payments.  Here's how it generally works:

Eligibility: Families apply for assistance.

Choice: Eligible families choose a child care provider that meets their needs.

Enrollment: The provider gets enrolled in AP.

Payment: SCOE reimburses the provider for the care provided to the enrolled child(ren).
