Become a Child Care Provider
Growing the child care community.
Do you love working with children? Do you already care for your own children or the children of a friend or realative? Find a new career from your own home. You can become a licensed family child care provider and be a small business owner. Another option is to open a child care center. Community Care Licensing is the department responsible for licensing child care. They ensure child care facilities follow health and safety regulations. Some child care providers do not need to be licensed and are exempt from licensing. We offer guidance, training, and support. Training opportunities can be found on the Raising a Quality Workforce (link to workforce page) page. Many other resources are available. Call or stop by our office.
